We are Not In This Alone
For Now, We Must Be Content Communicating Through Phone
Reassuring Ourselves And Our Loved Ones Too
That We Are Alright
We Are Doing Our Best To Shine A Light
This Will See us Through
When Can I Get My Own Bread
Will I Always Feel This Sense of Dread Due To The Uncertainty Of Lifes Challenges
So Pick Up The Phone
Let People Know Who Is At Home
Help And Support Is Here
Even Providing A Listening Ear
So Don’t Despair, Know That There Are Real People Who Care
Who Will Help See you Through the Pain of Whats Been Lost
Only To Find That As A Nation We Are Kind.

21 Days, As The Song Goes
“Is A Might Long Time”
To Stay Intact
In Fact We Are Doing Our Very Best
So Don’t Panic, Don’t React, Rest
Keep Busy, Keep Doing What Gives You Joy
Connecting With That Little Girl or Boy
That Lives Inside You
Who Wants To Come Out And Play
Connecting with Them Will Help To Save The Day
Tell The Kids,The Grand Kids Too
What Life Was Like Back Then
When You Were Two
How Times Have Changed
And Now Time Is Resetting Again
We Find Ourselves Picking Up Paper And Pen
To Write To Our Love Ones
Both Far And Near
Letting Them Know That We Love And Hold Them Dear
Into Our Hearts We Pray
That The Day Will Come Sooner
That We Will Be Able To Draw Nearer
To Each Other Like Before
Not Sending Our Love And Best Wishes
Through Panes of Glass or From Our Door.

June Is Here,We Can Now Eat Outdoors, Even Have A Beer
Our Summer Has Arrived
No Need To Have To Stay Inside
Astra Zeneca And The Indian Variant Still Cause For Concern
We May Be Out Of The Tunnel
But We Are Not Yet Out Of The Woods
It Is Still Our Duty Of Care
To Stay Vigilant And Good
Air Travel Still Not Advised, Penalties Imposed
Yes We Still Have Clean Air, Clear Skies
Vaccination Passports Are On The Way
It Seems That They Will Be Needed To Travel These Days
Working From Home May Co-Exist With Working In The Office
There’s A New Twist
Many Have Moved Their Homes
Now Working Remotely Online Or On Their Phones
Hotels And B&B’s Are Opening And Welcoming Us Back
To Spend Our Monies Locally Will Have A Great Impact
On The Local And National Economy
It Will Help Supporting Them To Get Back On Track
The Road Ahead Is Much Clearer
Roadmaps More Defined
Take Your Time To Find Your Feet Again
It Has Been A Very Long And Trying Time
It Has Took Its Toll, Its Hold On Our Bodies,Minds,And Souls
Now Gently Release, Let Go, Breathe
Feel A Sense Of Relief
As We Recover Our Loss Ground
With Less Fear
Let Us Connect With Our Loved Ones And Friends So Dear
Hugs And Embraces That Were Only A Deep Longing
Are Now A Reality
In Each Others Arms We Reconnect,Tears Of Joy
Cherishing Every Moment Spent With Those In Our Lives
Grateful For To Have Survived
To Have The Opportunity To Be The Ones Still Alive And Well
Hopeful That We Have Emerged From Our Living Hell
Our Present, The Gift Is In The Now
Go Out, Live The Best Life You Now Know How

May Has Arrived, Not A Moment Too Soon
The Cracks Were Starting To Show
We Have Been Carrying A Terrible Burden
As We All Know
Now With The Vaccines Being Rolled Out
Two Million And More
It Is Proving To Have Been Worth The Wait
The End Of The Tunnel Is Now In Sight
The Light Shines Through Inside And Out
We Are By Nature The Huggers, The Touchers,The Embracers,The Kiss Chasers
These Positive Actions Feed Our Souls
Have Been Woven Into Our Fabric As Human Beings
From Times Of Old
Helps To Make Us Feel Whole Again
Ready To Face Our Fears
As We Go Outside Into An Ever Changing World
We Now No Longer Need To Hide
Our Faces May Still Be Masked
But Our Eyes Shine Bright
Less Fearful As We Rest,
Take A Deep Breath Each Night
We Now Carry Hope And Faith In Our Present State
That All Will Be Well
We Have Lived Our Living Hell
For Fourteen Months Inside Or Close To Our Doors
We Really Couldn’t Take Much More
We Have Grown From A Place Of Uncertain Fate
To A People Resilient,True To Their Core
We Are Through The Worst
We Hope And Pray, Forever More
All Our Sacrifices And Efforts Are Not In Vain
We Get To Live Our Best Lives Outside Again.

A Difficult Challenge,In Challenging Times
As In The Year Before
Many Braved The Weather This Year
The Rain, It Pored And Pored
It Masked The Tears That Have Been Shed By Many
A Loss Now Shared
As They Rose To The Challenge
Left A Warm Bed,
Walked Their Walk,Talked Their Talk,Ran, Swan
As The Darkness Turned To Light
On Their Own, Or With Others In Their Sight
Doing The Only Thing They Feel At Times They Can Do
Raise Much Needed Funds For Their Loved Ones And Others
To Help,To See Them Through Their Dark Nights Of The Soul
To Bring Peace And Hope To A Weary Body, Mind And Spirit
Many, Far To Many Are Left Reeling,Mourning,
Grieving
Trying To Understand Why,How A Loved One Would/Could Choose To Take Their Life By Their Own Hand
Let’s Name It And Start The Talk, Suicide
We Have Heard Far Too Many Times
They Were The Happy Ones
Appearing Without A Care
Smiles And Laughter Filled The Air
Masked Their Pain Of Life Hidden Deep Inside
So As We All Are Struggling And Trying To Get To Grips With Our Lives As We Live Them Now
Go Deep Inside Your Well
Express The Pain, The Loss,The Sorrow,The Anger Felt
Learn To Tell One Who Can Hear Your Call
Your Cry For Help
Who Is Present To You In Your Life
Take Off The Mask You Wear Each Day
Learn To Trust,And Say
I Am Not OK
I Am Not Doing OK
I Am Struggling
I Could Do With Some Support
To See Me Through
There Is No Shame In Asking For Help
You Are Looking After Your Mental Health
Your Mental Wellness,Your Resilience Will Support You Through
Don’t Entertain Those Dark Thoughts
Felt By Many, But Expressed By Far Too Few
It Is The Right Time, NOW
Pick Up The Phone To Another
Stranger, Family Or Friend
Let Them Know How You Are REALLY Doing
Don’t Leave It,
It Does Not Always Have A Good End

Morning Has Broken,
The Promise of Another Day
We Are Not Broken,Just Bent Out Of Shape
We Have Been Twisted,
Spun,Tossed Around
Not Knowing Which Way Was Up Or Down
Where And How To Land,
Where Was The Ground Beneath Our Feet
In Eirinn’s Land
To Be Solid, Safe, Home
Terra Firma All Around
We Long For The Familiar
The Family, Friends Their Touch,Arms Linked,Entwined
Hearts Meet, Skip A Beat
Where To From Here We Ask
All In Good Time As We Hope That All That Has Gone Before
Is Coming To An End
And It Is Safe Once More
To Leave The Familiarity At Our Door
And Join Our Families And Friends Once More
Celebrations Of Life
For Those Who Have Come, And Gone
Have Been Put On Hold,On Pause
We Need To Celebrate
We Need To Applaud
To Remember Those We Have Lost
And Welcome Those Who Chose To Come In 2020/2021
To Bring Life, Love And Light Into The World
Their Journey Just Begun
Into A Very Different World Order
That Has Been Known For Such A Short Time By One And All
The Circle Of Life,From Cradle To Grave
We Have Learned Not To Take It For Granted
All The Days We Have,We Now Crave
Where To From Here
The Present,The Gift We Hold
We Will Have Plenty Of Time,
Of Ways Our Stories Will Be Told To Future Generations
Of How We Lived,Survived Thrived Through These Troubled Times
When Our Main Goal From An Unseen Deadly Enemy, But Felt By Far Too Many
Was To Survive
And Our Actions,Our Needs And Our Deeds
Were Purely To Keep Each Other Alive

A Time Of Death, Rebirth,Renewal, Resurrection
The World,Our World Has Now Changed Beyond Recognition
Beyond Understanding And Comprehension
A Ray Of Real Hope,A Guiding Light
Now Shines Through
But We Know What We Still Have To Do
As Our Vaccine Programs Are Being Ramped Up,Rolled Out By A Wonderful Crew
An Easter “Gift “To Our Elderly And Those Who Are At Most Risk
Of Catching This Deadly Disease That Now Lives Within Our Mist
A Time To Reflect On This Unprecedented Year Passed
How We Have Stood Firm Together
Hope In Our Hearts At Last
Against An Enemy, Unseen But Touched By Too Many
In The Face Of Adversity
We Stood The Test Of Time
But Now We Have Had Enough
We Are Exhausted In Body,Mind And Soul
We Need To Let Our Hair Down
What’s Called For, Is A Night On The Town
The Jerusalema Challenge Had Arrived At Our Door
To Remind Us Of Our Fun Resilience side
We Hold Inside
To Express Through Movement,Dance,
Having A Laugh
Our Determination To Stay Strong
When All Looks And Feels So Wrong
A Challenge Thrown Out To Us All
Even If We Are Old Young Or Not That Strong
To Connect Us Worldwide In A Fun Way
To Lighten Our Load,A Few Minutes Of Joy
To Help Us Forget For A Little While When All In The World Seems So Out Of Step,Out Of Rhythm
We Are Educated Consumers Of Goods, Services
Know Our Personal And Political Rights
Treat Us As So
We Will Not Go Gently Into The Night
In A Democracy The Majority Rules
In A Pandemic It Is Proving That The Minority Act Like Fools,Break The Rules
We Care, Show You Care
Act As If You Care
We Need To Know That You Are There
Stay Home,Do What’s Right This Bank Holiday Weekend
Act Not As One But For The Many In And Out Of Sight
The Risks You Choose To Take
Do Not Affect Only You
But Those Of Us Who Are Struggling, Muddling Through.
