The World,Our World Has Now Changed Beyond Recognition
Beyond Understanding And Comprehension
A Ray Of Real Hope,A Guiding Light
Now Shines Through
But We Know What We Still Have To Do
As Our Vaccine Programs Are Being Ramped Up,Rolled Out By A Wonderful Crew
An Easter “Gift “To Our Elderly And Those Who Are At Most Risk
Of Catching This Deadly Disease That Now Lives Within Our Mist
A Time To Reflect On This Unprecedented Year Passed
How We Have Stood Firm Together
Hope In Our Hearts At Last
Against An Enemy, Unseen But Touched By Too Many
In The Face Of Adversity
We Stood The Test Of Time
But Now We Have Had Enough
We Are Exhausted In Body,Mind And Soul
We Need To Let Our Hair Down
What’s Called For, Is A Night On The Town
The Jerusalema Challenge Had Arrived At Our Door
To Remind Us Of Our Fun Resilience side
We Hold Inside
To Express Through Movement,Dance,
Having A Laugh
Our Determination To Stay Strong
When All Looks And Feels So Wrong
A Challenge Thrown Out To Us All
Even If We Are Old Young Or Not That Strong
To Connect Us Worldwide In A Fun Way
To Lighten Our Load,A Few Minutes Of Joy
To Help Us Forget For A Little While When All In The World Seems So Out Of Step,Out Of Rhythm
We Are Educated Consumers Of Goods, Services
Know Our Personal And Political Rights
Treat Us As So
We Will Not Go Gently Into The Night
In A Democracy The Majority Rules
In A Pandemic It Is Proving That The Minority Act Like Fools,Break The Rules
We Care, Show You Care
Act As If You Care
We Need To Know That You Are There
Stay Home,Do What’s Right This Bank Holiday Weekend
Act Not As One But For The Many In And Out Of Sight
The Risks You Choose To Take
Do Not Affect Only You
But Those Of Us Who Are Struggling, Muddling Through.
