May Has Arrived, Not A Moment Too Soon
The Cracks Were Starting To Show
We Have Been Carrying A Terrible Burden
As We All Know
Now With The Vaccines Being Rolled Out
Two Million And More
It Is Proving To Have Been Worth The Wait
The End Of The Tunnel Is Now In Sight
The Light Shines Through Inside And Out
We Are By Nature The Huggers, The Touchers,The Embracers,The Kiss Chasers
These Positive Actions Feed Our Souls
Have Been Woven Into Our Fabric As Human Beings
From Times Of Old
Helps To Make Us Feel Whole Again
Ready To Face Our Fears
As We Go Outside Into An Ever Changing World
We Now No Longer Need To Hide
Our Faces May Still Be Masked
But Our Eyes Shine Bright
Less Fearful As We Rest,
Take A Deep Breath Each Night
We Now Carry Hope And Faith In Our Present State
That All Will Be Well
We Have Lived Our Living Hell
For Fourteen Months Inside Or Close To Our Doors
We Really Couldn’t Take Much More
We Have Grown From A Place Of Uncertain Fate
To A People Resilient,True To Their Core
We Are Through The Worst
We Hope And Pray, Forever More
All Our Sacrifices And Efforts Are Not In Vain
We Get To Live Our Best Lives Outside Again.

A Difficult Challenge,In Challenging Times
As In The Year Before
Many Braved The Weather This Year
The Rain, It Pored And Pored
It Masked The Tears That Have Been Shed By Many
A Loss Now Shared
As They Rose To The Challenge
Left A Warm Bed,
Walked Their Walk,Talked Their Talk,Ran, Swan
As The Darkness Turned To Light
On Their Own, Or With Others In Their Sight
Doing The Only Thing They Feel At Times They Can Do
Raise Much Needed Funds For Their Loved Ones And Others
To Help,To See Them Through Their Dark Nights Of The Soul
To Bring Peace And Hope To A Weary Body, Mind And Spirit
Many, Far To Many Are Left Reeling,Mourning,
Grieving
Trying To Understand Why,How A Loved One Would/Could Choose To Take Their Life By Their Own Hand
Let’s Name It And Start The Talk, Suicide
We Have Heard Far Too Many Times
They Were The Happy Ones
Appearing Without A Care
Smiles And Laughter Filled The Air
Masked Their Pain Of Life Hidden Deep Inside
So As We All Are Struggling And Trying To Get To Grips With Our Lives As We Live Them Now
Go Deep Inside Your Well
Express The Pain, The Loss,The Sorrow,The Anger Felt
Learn To Tell One Who Can Hear Your Call
Your Cry For Help
Who Is Present To You In Your Life
Take Off The Mask You Wear Each Day
Learn To Trust,And Say
I Am Not OK
I Am Not Doing OK
I Am Struggling
I Could Do With Some Support
To See Me Through
There Is No Shame In Asking For Help
You Are Looking After Your Mental Health
Your Mental Wellness,Your Resilience Will Support You Through
Don’t Entertain Those Dark Thoughts
Felt By Many, But Expressed By Far Too Few
It Is The Right Time, NOW
Pick Up The Phone To Another
Stranger, Family Or Friend
Let Them Know How You Are REALLY Doing
Don’t Leave It,
It Does Not Always Have A Good End
