This Pandemic Has Brought Us To Our Knees

But Our ICU Beds Are Full,This Cant Last
We Are Left Counting The Cost Of Our Loss
We Are Wondering If This Will Ever End
Six Weeks More The News Had Arrived At Our Door
We Have To Endure in Level Five
How Are We Going To Stay Strong
Not Merely Survive
Daily Walks, Daily Talks
So Important Now
To Know You Are Not Doing This Alone
There Will Always Be Someone At The End Of A Phone
Even If You Are At Home Alone
Reach Out And Touch Someone The Slogan Used To Say
Now Its Pick Up The Phone
Let Someone Know How You Are Doing Today
Bad Or Good Days,Happy Or Sad
Dark Or Bright
Let Someone Know How You Are Doing This Day,This Night
Have A Moan,Have A Laugh,
Shed Some Tears, Let Go Of The Fears
Rest If You Must
But Don’t Give Up
This Is Just For Now
This Time Will Pass
And We Will Be Able To Resume Life Outside At Last
We Are Up To The Task
We Must Stand Firm
For Each Other,Our Communities,Our Land
So We Can Walk Free Together In The Near Future
