Even Though They Will Be On Their Own
Less Cheer, Feeling Fear For Themselves,
Loved Ones So Dear
The Senior G.A.A. Finals Being Played Out To Day
Dublin And Mayo Finally Get To Play
Will Dublin Make It Six In A Row
Or Will The Sam Maguire Cup
Have Far To Go?
A Light Shines Bright In The Tunnel Now
As Vaccines Have Been Sourced
Will Be Rolled Out Early 2021
In Due Course
So Let’s Not F*** It Up
With Undue Course
Our Numbers And Deaths Are Steadily Rising
Our Standards Are Steadily Falling
Just Because You Can Now Travel Futher
And Visit More People
Does Not Mean You Should
Have The Difficult Conversations
Thinking Of Those
Both Near And Far
Do What’s Right, What’s For The Greater Good
We Are Missing The Hugs, The Kisses
The Human Touch Matters So Very Much, Especially At This Time Of Year
When We Usually Gather
To Spread Some Cheer
Have A Safe Christmas At Home This Year
Ho, Ho, Ho,
Don’t Fool Yourself
Remember,We Still Have A Long Way To Go.
